Ogilvie Construction Ltd., part of the Ogilvie Group, has worked hard over the last sixty years to build and maintain a reputation for quality, trust and delivery.

Privately owned, Ogilvie have a turnover of over £100m and a work force of over 400 people. From their head office in Stirling, Central Scotland, they operate throughout Scotland and the North of England and have worked with AccentHansen on a number of previous projects. St. Modans High School is part of the Stirling Schools project and involved a new build replacement which included the requirement for thirteen fire doors including two which have ‘Rebound Panels’ for use in the school’s gymnasium.

Why AccentHansen?
Although Ogilvie had experience of working with AccentHansen, they still had to go through a competitive tender process with three other companies. Brian Wilson, Project Manager for Ogilvie, said “AccentHansen have a strong history in the education market, with their competitive pricing backed up by their outstanding service and excellent quality, they were the perfect choice.” AccentHansen provided a complete service, from technical drawings through to the supply and installation of the doorsets, and Ogilvie were very pleased with the results.

Delivered as Promised
Ogilvie continue to be impressed by AccentHansen, “The service we received throughout the project was very good. We didn’t have any problems but when I needed to speak with someone they were very responsive and always had the answers,” commented Brian. “They delivered on time and with products that lived up to the specifications of the tender, which contributed to the four week early completion of the project.”

The Future
“We were looking for a supplier who had the same principles as us – a focus on quality, trust and delivery, and with AccentHansen that’s what we got. When we have further requirements for quality doorsets, we will definitely get them involved. It makes all our lives easier when you can rely on what will be delivered” concluded Brian.
