Säbyholms, Landskrona

The old horse stables at Säbyholms farm, just outside Landskrona is a culturally and historically valuable building that now as a partnership between HSB Landskrona and Säbyholms Montessori School will live on.

The stables have been converted into a schoolhouse, which largely preserves the entire exterior but also some of the details inside the walls will also remind you of old times.

The property is part of Landskrona's heritage that is now used and continues to be a vibrant part of Landskrona's history.

The so-called horse stables built in 1871 and were rebuilt in 1905. The stable was a central part in the story of life on Säbyholms yard and was where the farm's many working horses were housed.

The exterior preserved but bricked inside new walls and inside the construction of a new modern school with plastered walls in light shade and floor tiles, parquet flooring and hypoallergenic carpet on concrete floors. Some features have been retained, including the cast iron player, which originally stood at the stalls. The total area is 1,100 square meters.

In the large wing there are in addition to study rooms, teachers' workroom, library, auditorium, music room with insulated walls and a few smaller study areas.
