The Braehead Shopping Centre is located off the M8, 5 miles west from Glasgow centre, on Kings Inch Road. Braehead Shopping Centre opened in 1999 and cost 285m.

Glass Specification: 13.5mm laminated ThermoSpan comprising two panes of 6mm clear float glass toughened and heat soaked. Toughened glass providing the necessary strength for structural glazing and laminated glass to maintain integrity should fracture occur.

The simple clear lines of the canopy produce a stunning feature to provide an undercover walkway at the shopping centre. The use of 13.5mm thick product also provides a cost effective solution to structural glazing, whilst still retaining a design feature for the architect.
